At J SALON STUDIOS & SPA all of our beauty technicians are independent business owners.

This may be accommodating to all budgets, preferences, and scheduling.

We are home to some of the most talented independent beauty technicians in our community. All of our technicians manage their own service, schedules & pricing.

Our services, treatments and procedures are completed to a high standard. Our salon policies ensure we provide a consistently high standard of customer service which benefits not only our beauty technicians but also all of our guest customers.

SALON POLICIES

In order to ensure that our client guest and technicians have a pleasant experience at J Salon Studios & Spa here are some guidelines and policies to review before booking a salon and spa appointment. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.



CHILDREN & GUEST SAFTEY

Our salon policy is that children are welcome in the salon if the child has an appointment. Due to safety considerations and limited space, children are not permitted in the salon unless they are attending their schedule appointment. Children must be attended by another adult (who is not receiving services) at all times. Children may not accompany you while you are being serviced at the salon. We love children, but they can be a distraction to the technicians and clients and we want our clients to receive the best possible salon service.

Unattended children will be given espresso, candy and a free kitten.”

NO GUESTS

To limit exposure and occupancy, no guests or children can accompany you to your scheduled appointment. The salon needs to make sure we have adequate seating for our clients that are being serviced. Elderly Care-givers are the only exception.

HEALTH & SAFETY

The safety of our staff and clients is our utmost priority. If you are suffering from any contagious infection, we recommend that you reschedule your appointment until you feel better. If you are sick in any way, please do not attend your appointment and let us know as soon as possible.. and we will do the same. We will gladly reschedule you to get in as soon as possible after you are better. There is no cancellation fee due to illness. 

SERVICE PRICING & ESTIMATES

All prices listed on our website or given by our front desk are starting prices only and are subject to change based on our independent beauty technician, the actual services you receive and whether additional time & product is needed. Our salon pricing may occasionally vary. For accurate pricing please request a consultation and cost estimate prior to scheduling, or at the start of your service.

SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS

All salon and spa services require a reservation and shall be booked in advance. Same Day / Walk-In appointments are rarely available or accepted. Many of our beauty technicians have online booking links and may require a service deposit fee during scheduling. ( $$ Technician discretion) Existing clients with a no-show or cancellation history will also be required to pay deposits for any booking.

If you book an appointment please make sure that you show up for the appointment. No-call no-shows, and last minute cancellations are not permitted. With a No call, No show or same day cancellation you will NOT be given your deposit refund. If your scheduled appointment was not secured with a deposit fee a Cancellation/ Re-Booking Fee will be charged at the time of cancellation/ rescheduling.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that things can come up. We value your time, and we hope you value ours, too. As a courtesy to your beauty technician, we ask that you give a 24 hour cancellation notice prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in booking fees. Recommended cancellation fee is 50% of the services booked. No Shows 100% of Service Fees

TIMELINESS

Please be on time for your scheduled appointment. Being late can cause your beauty technician to be behind schedule with other clients and can also interfere with your appointment. There is a 10 minute grace period given. Guests who are 15 minutes or more late may be asked to reschedule and may be subject to our cancelation policy. Please allow extra time for traffic.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

To insure a relaxing environment for all our guest and technicians; We kindly ask that electronic devices such as cellular phones, tablets, laptops tops and gaming devices be put on silent or turned off while receiving services. This includes the use of speakerphone, FaceTime and/or any other turbulent noise as well. While you wait or begin processed during your service time ; We kindly ask that you use headphones or ear buds to respect other guests and technicians.

ADJUSTMENTS

It is important to us that each of our guests leave happy with their service. We welcome the opportunity to address any concerns and are happy to make any necessary adjustments within 10 days of your service. In most cases, adjustments are free of charge and with the original service provider. We do not offer refunds on services.

SALON MERCHANDISE PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

Our beauty technicians are trained on all of our salon product lines and make personalized take-home recommendations based off of your specific needs. All of our salon products and merchandise are payed directly to the salon as a separate charge from your beauty service fees. We appreciate all salon purchase as they help contribute to the cost of doing business. If for any reason a product does not work out for you, we are more than happy to provide a refund on all un-opened items within 30 days. For items gently used, you may receive a salon credit. If an item is more than gently used or it has been longer than 30 days, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or credit.

SERVICE PAYMENTS

Our Beauty Technicians are independent business and manage all pricing and payments. All Service payments are made directly to your beauty technician. Cash, Checks, and mobile app payments are generally accepted. Make sure you inquire on payment methods prior to doing your services .

RIGHT TO REFUSE

Our salon staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service or pose a threat to our business, employees, as well other clients and guests.

PRIVACY

Customer information in our files is used to improve your service and send important messages as well as marketing communications. We do not, under any circumstances, share this information with third parties.

We can invest more energy in pleasing our clients expectations and enjoy the satisfaction that comes from watching you all walk out with a pleasant experience and that extra pep in your step.
